Buying an electronic cricket scoreboard can cost thousands of pounds and is a big investment for any size of club. Because of this type of investment, you need to ensure that you are buying what's best for your club after assessing all the available options and configurations.
Areas that need to be considered before purchase are:
- The different types of digits available from different manufacturers.
- What type and size of digit is best suited for your ground.
- There are a number of different control units and a multitude of configurations for consideration.
- Types of scoreboard fascia available and what's the best option for your club.
- For portable or standalone units you can choose from a number of construction materials.
- Different types of polycarbonate coverings available such as 'Clear', 'UV Stabilised', 'UV protected' with the option of an 'Antiglare Coating'.
- What power configurations are available for you to choose from.

- We are able to supply a range of FIBA approved scoreboards. Not all the range we supply are FIBA approved and so you should ensure that this is requested upon placing you order.
This will vary depending upon the application and environment in which it will be used.
All the scoreboards come with 12 months minimum warranty, some are 3 years on certain parts based on a return to UK Scoreboard Systems basis.
Yes, we cover England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Seven segment display scoreboards can run from either a 12volt battery or 240v mains power. However the LED displays do require a 240volts main power supply.
The seven segment scoreboards are supplied in an aluminium case with a vandal proof polycarbonate cover to protect the electronics against vandalism. The majority of our indoor LED systems come supplied with shock proof fascias.
No real servicing is required with the scoreboard. However if you prefer we can service your scoreboards every 12 months. This will depend upon the usage of the system.
There are 4 options available depending on the display type and model chosen:
1. Wall mounted.
2. Portable with removable legs or support system.
3. Fitted onto existing scoreboard apertures.
4. Custom manufactured support structure for the scoreboards.
Indoor LED scoreboards are designed to be wall mounted.
